routine and excitement, sidestepped and exalted
peripheral conditioning
what we feel
what we want
how we’re fed
we have been through it all from one end to the other
and again and again
fighting at the bus stop
to find some true meaning there before the rules change too much and all the magic is lost

We float despite a lack of space
